1. Pricing Basis & Commercial Terms
All wholesale prices quoted by CV. Prima Putra are calculated on an FOB (Free On Board) Port of Semarang (Tanjung Emas), Central Java, Indonesia basis, unless explicitly specified otherwise in writing (e.g., CIF or CFR destination port requests).
Key Commercial Provisions:
- Currency: All quotations, proforma invoices, and contracts are calculated and transacted in United States Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR) as per agreement.
- Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Our baseline quotation requires a minimum shipment volume of one 20-foot full container load (20ft FCL) or 40ft High Cube container. Mixed SKU models are permitted per container.
- Price Validity: Written quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the issue date due to raw timber market adjustments and currency exchange rates.
2. Payment Structure & Banking Conditions
To initiate timber drying, machining, and batch manufacturing, production orders require structured financial commitments as follows:
Standard Payment Schedule:
- Telegraphic Wire Transfer (T/T): A 50% Down Payment (DP) deposit via T/T wire transfer is required upon approval of the Proforma Invoice to initiate raw material kiln-drying and batch production.
- Balance Settlement: The remaining 50% balance is payable upon completion of batch manufacturing and receipt of verified pre-shipment quality control photographs, prior to container loading or against copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
- Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C): Irrevocable L/C at sight can be accepted for container orders exceeding USD 50,000, subject to prior approval by our corporate bank in Indonesia.
3. Production Lead Times & Delivery Schedules
Production cycles are calculated from the precise date of receiving verified T/T down payment deposit receipts into our account:
Lead Time Breakdown:
- Standard Catalogue Orders: Delivered within 30 to 45 calendar days following deposit confirmation.
- Repeat Container Lines: Processed within 40 to 45 calendar days using archived finish codes and jigs.
- Custom Bespoke & OEM Projects: Completed within 60 to 90 days (or up to 180 days for large-scale contract fit-out projects involving custom prototyping and technical drawing approvals).
4. Timber Sourcing & SVLK Legality Compliance
Every piece of solid teak (Tectona grandis) and mahogany processed in our Jepara workshop is sourced legally from official Perhutani government-managed plantations and verified private forestry suppliers.
Export Legal Documentation:
- SVLK Certification: Full Indonesian Timber Legality Verification System (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) documentation accompanies every shipment.
- International Due Diligence: Complete chain-of-custody records are supplied to satisfy EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), UK Timber Regulation (UKTR), and US Lacey Act compliance requirements.
- V-Legal Documents: Export V-Legal permits are generated prior to container vessel departure.
5. Kiln Drying & Moisture Content Assurance
To prevent structural checking, warping, or joint movement in destination climates, timber undergoes rigorous kiln drying prior to joinery assembly:
Technical Standards:
- Indoor Wood Furniture: Moisture content (MC) is strictly controlled between 8% to 12% MC before finishing.
- Outdoor Teak Collections: Moisture content is calibrated to 12% to 15% MC to withstand outdoor atmospheric shifts.
- Quality Checkpoints: Digital moisture meter checks are conducted at board cutting, dry assembly, and pre-finishing stages.
6. Export Packaging & Shipping Protection
Our packaging protocols are engineered for long-distance ocean freight protection and heavy handling during port transit:
- Carton Packaging: Double-wall 5-ply corrugated carton boxes equipped with edge protectors, foam interleaving, and moisture-absorbing silica gel packs.
- Knock-Down (KD) Items: Packed flat to optimize container volume, complete with hardware blister packs and clear assembly guides.
- Crate Wrapping: High-value items, glass panels, or assembled chairs receive exterior wooden crate framing upon request.
