Yes. Proper kiln-drying is the single most critical factor in preventing wood checking, warping, joint separation, and cracking when timber products are exported to varying international climates (Europe, North America, Middle East, Oceania).

All solid teak, mahogany, and tropical hardwoods pass through our computer-controlled kiln chambers to achieve precise Moisture Content (MC) calibrated to component thickness:

• 1.0 cm to 2.0 cm component thickness: Target MC 12% – 15%
• 3.0 cm to 4.0 cm component thickness: Target MC 16% – 18%
• 5.0 cm and thicker structural posts/framing: Target MC 19% – 20%

Moisture levels are digital-pin tested and documented prior to final machining, assembly, and finishing.

We work exclusively with legal, sustainable timber species and commercial-grade outdoor/indoor accent materials:

• Plantation Teak (Tectona grandis): Grade-A heartwood rich in natural teak oils for extreme weather durability, as well as Grade-B furniture timber for outdoor patio and garden lines.
• Indonesian Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla): Kiln-dried indoor hardwood ideal for fine carving, classic joinery, and premium lacquer/stained finishes.
• Secondary Hardwoods & Natural Weaving: Mindy wood, Acacia, natural cane, and rattan.
• All-Weather Synthetic Materials: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) synthetic rattan, powder-coated 6063 aluminum frames, 304-grade stainless steel hardware, and quick-dry reticulated foam with outdoor upholstery.

Yes. Custom contract manufacturing accounts for over 60% of our container output. We build directly from client-supplied CAD drawings, technical blueprints, 3D renderings, high-resolution photographs, or physical reference samples.

Our Custom Development Workflow:

1. Technical Evaluation: We analyze your specs, dimensions, timber grain orientation, hardware, and structural joinery suitable for international export.
2. CAD Approval & Costing: We provide detailed production engineering drawings and itemized FOB cost breakdowns.
3. Prototype Sign-off: A physical prototype is manufactured, dimensionally inspected, photographed from all angles, and verified before full batch production commences.

Lead times are determined by material selection, joinery complexity, carving intricate levels, and season schedule. Typical production durations from deposit receipt to container loading are:

Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for commercial wholesale export is 1 x 20-foot FCL (Full Container Load).

To provide flexible sourcing for catalogue retailers and interior project specifiers, we permit mixed-item container loading (multiple model styles, sizes, and finishes combined into a single 20ft, 40ft, or 40ft HC container shipment).

Quality assurance at Prima Furniture is embedded directly into every stage of production rather than checked at the final shipping dock:

• SVLK Legal Timber Verification: All timber is legally harvested from government-managed Perhutani plantations or audited community forests under Indonesia's SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Kelestarian Hutan) timber legality assurance system, fully compliant with EUTR, UKTR, and Lacey Act requirements.
• Multi-Stage QC Inspection: Inspection checkpoints occur at log sawing, post-kiln moisture testing, dry-fit frame assembly, surface sanding, finish coating, and carton packaging.
• Defect Resolution Policy: In the rare event of a manufacturing defect, written claims backed by inspection photo documentation submitted within 30 days of container unloading will be reviewed for replacement, credit, or factory remedy. Shipping handling damage and improper warehouse storage are excluded.

All trade quotations are standardly priced on an FOB (Free On Board) Semarang Port (Tanjung Emas Port, Central Java, Indonesia) basis.

• Payment Method: Telegraphic Transfer (T/T / Swift Wire Transfer).
• Standard Terms: 50% advance deposit paid upon order confirmation to initiate timber processing and factory scheduling; 50% balance paid upon completion against presentation of copy shipping documents and Bill of Lading (B/L).
• Freight Coordination: We assist buyers in coordinating container booking with your nominated freight forwarder or arrange competitive shipping lines directly to your port of destination.
