An Indonesian Furniture Workshop Built Around Quality
Prima Furniture is the export arm of CV. Prima Putra, a family-run manufacturer based in Jepara — the furniture carving district of Central Java. Every chair, table, bench and cabinet we ship is produced inside our own workshop, not brokered from a trading floor. That single fact shapes how we quote, how we schedule and how we answer technical questions from buyers.
We machine and assemble plantation-grown teak, mahogany and other tropical hardwoods, and combine them with natural rattan, synthetic weaving, stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium and specified upholstery textiles. Species, moisture content, joinery method and finish are decided by the end use: a stacking chair for a beach club is engineered very differently from a bedroom console for a residential interior.
Production follows a fixed sequence — kiln drying, sawing, joinery, dry assembly, sanding, finishing, hardware fitting, quality inspection, then knock-down or fully assembled packing. Skilled woodworkers handle carving and detail work; machinery holds tolerances across repeat batches. Items are inspected between stages rather than only at the end, which is where most order rejections are actually prevented.
Our regular partners include furniture retailers, wholesalers, interior designers, architects, villa and resort developers, contract fit-out companies and private-label brands. Projects may start from a technical drawing, a CAD file, a photograph, a sample piece or a simple set of dimensions.

How We Work
From Specification to Loaded Container
A transparent four-stage route used for catalogue orders, private-label programmes and one-off contract pieces alike.
Specification Review
We confirm dimensions, timber species, joinery, finish reference, fabric and hardware, then flag anything that conflicts with the intended use or climate.
Prototype & Approval
A sample is built, photographed from every angle and measured. Nothing enters batch production until the prototype is signed off.
Batch Production
Kiln-dried stock is machined, assembled, sanded and finished, with in-line inspections between stages and moisture checks on indoor items.
Packing & Export
Carton or crate packing, loading photographs, legality and export documents, then container release to your forwarder.

What is your production capacity per month?
Our Jepara workshop currently loads up to seven 40-foot containers per month. Capacity is shared between catalogue collections and custom production lines, so lead times are confirmed against the live schedule rather than a generic estimate.
Which timber species and materials do you work with?
Plantation-grown teak, mahogany and other tropical hardwoods, combined where specified with natural rattan, synthetic weaving, stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium, marine-grade textiles and upholstery foam. Material choice is matched to the environment the furniture will live in — coastal, poolside, covered terrace or interior.
Can you manufacture furniture from our own drawings?
Yes. Production can start from technical drawings, CAD files, photographic references or a physical sample. We build and photograph a prototype for written approval before batch production, which is the stage where most dimensional and finish issues are resolved.
Is your timber legally verified for export?
All timber is purchased with Indonesian legality documentation and supported by SVLK-based chain-of-custody records. Shipments are prepared so that EUTR, UKTR and comparable due-diligence checks can be satisfied by your import team.
Do you support private-label and repeat collection programmes?
We do. Branded labelling, retail-ready packaging, barcoded cartons and seasonal collection extensions are all handled in-house, with finish codes and prototype records archived so repeat runs stay consistent.
