Factory Execution
Raw timber boards are dried inside our automated steam kilns for 14 to 28 days depending on thickness. We measure moisture content across multiple core points using digital pin-type meters before machining begins. Indoor timber is calibrated strictly to 8%–12% MC to withstand HVAC humidity drops in Northern American and European markets.
All non-teak hardwoods undergo vacuum-pressure impregnation or anti-woodborer chemical dipping prior to kiln drying. Combined with protective topcoat polyurethane and lacquer sealants, finished components are fully shielded against termites, powder-post beetles, and fungal decay.
Commercial-use furniture relies on traditional woodjoinery. We utilize deep mortise and tenon joints reinforced with solid teak dowels and waterproof polyurethane adhesives (D4 rating), ensuring frame integrity even under intense hotel or restaurant usage.
